25-Man ToC

I'm curious how everyone would feel (both this group and the guild) about doing a 25-man ToC run from 5-7pm server? That would leave us from 7-9pm server for our 10-man run. It's certainly possible to flip that around as well - just wanted to throw something up. To be clear, ToC is definitely a step up. So we'd have to be strict to the entry requirements:

Some general averages and expectations:
Healers need to be doing 2k+
DPS needs to be doing 4k+
Tanks should have >40k health buffed and must be Ulduar+ geared and generate 7k+ tps

Anyway, let me know what you all think.

Should be fun but its going to be hard to find 15 other good dps,healers,tanks and would leave us with no time to try heroic toc 10 but as always iam down for what ever:)

I am down for doing this as well.

If anyone needs help in improving, such as dps, healing, or tanking, do not hesistate in asking help from an Officer, Leader, and/or Raider.

I am definately down, id hope for our 10 man first, not to be selfish but its something we KNOW we can do. Then after, we do 25 man. 25 man gear is better than 10 man and it'd help bring the guild together....

And in recent times, we need unity and strength!

If there's room, I'd be willing to try. But to be honest, not having seen anything past the first guy with the snobolds, I don't feel ready. I can watch tankspot videos and youtube but those are groups who have a leader who may do things differently. So it's instructional, but only to a point.

As Bo already knows, I am looking for a 10 man group. I wasn't able to generate enough interest on my own so I'm going outside guild. Ever since our 10 man Ulduar group fell apart, I've felt in limbo. It's great that the ToC 10 man group is doing so well, but to expect others to jump in on 25 man when we haven't seen or experienced what you have...it might be disappointing. I hope not, but I'm a realist. So go ahead and put me down. Maybe I'll get lucky and get in on a 10 man this week.

PS...one little suggestion: I know the 10 man group is not geared yet as you have only run the instance so many times. But to give others a little taste, do you think that for one week only it could be split and run two groups with others who are Ulduar geared? It would give more of the 25 group an idea of what to expect.

What day of the week is this being considered for please? Need to know before I toss in my hat.

Finding other people might be tough. Maybe we could ask some Silver Hammer peeps to fill us out if they are available. Their healers are not too shabby.

It's worth a shot though so count me in. Anything for the guild.

Briteleaf: This would be for Saturday nights.
Bellona: I can run it by the team. I know that we do look to guild first when we have someone that can't make it. We still try to be strict with the requirements which does leave a lot of people out. But that's mainly because We do the heroic run right after and still can't get the first boss down.

I know I've mentioned this in guild chat but many probably haven't seen it. I definitely think if we can get 25 people together we have a really good shot at the first 2 bosses. I've seen guilds do it with similar dps as we bring to Ulduar (I'm judging this by some logs I've looked at on worldoflogs). The 3rd boss is one of the most difficult in the entire instance. That definitely requires people to step up to another level. To me it seems to have the feel of an arena match.

So 2 hours is an ideal timeframe so that we can hopefully get a little progress, and not get too frustrated if we start wiping a lot. And the reward is excellent gear!

Did it on monday on my mage first 2 boss's are easy mode are dps was bit low but still did fine i think we can do it

I'm not sure how it'll work out, but we're going to plan to give this a shot this saturday night! Thu/Fri I'll discuss with Silver Hammer to see if they might have anyone with interest as well. So the start time will be pending... the run will be somewhere between 90 min and 2 hours for our first night. I'll throw out an official start time sometime Friday night. The start time will somewhere in the range of 5-7pm server.

Our 10 man will work around the 25-man time.

woot cant wait but i do hope we stand buy the rules u made like 4 k dps 2k healing and 4k hp. but i think 4k might be a bit to much for some people 3.5k should be min lest for the first boss .
